Milk it for its goodness

Milk is full of natural goodness. But for those who don't like to take it as it is, you can add it to your tart, bread or shake recipesWE all grew up drinking glasses of milk. The ultimate milky question is, when was the last time you had a glass of milk as an adult? Nowadays, most of us go through days, weeks, months, of not really consuming milk. Except when it is hidden in desserts, hot beverages and chocolates, right? Well, I have news for you. Experts are saying it is not enough.According to the expect Farah Diba Khan an average adult needs about two glasses or around 500ml per day of milk to keep things like osteoporosis at bay.And in relation to a healthy diet, it is good for diabetics, for better insulin absorption and it helps when it comes to weight loss. It is not too late for us to drink a milk although we are at 60 and try to practise in your daily life.

Teacher kicked, slapped by two Form 2 girls

A 27-year-old teacher was allegedly kicked in her belly by a student .Physics teacher Azhana Ibrahim was assaulted after being involved in an argument with two Form Two students at 10am.The argument was over a crude word (Gila Babi) which one of the students had written in a class project report.The teacher sought an explanation from the students, both 14, which ended in a shouting match.Azhana and the two students also traded slaps in the incident at Sekolah Menengah Perlis here.

District police chief Superintendent Yusof Mohd Diah said the teacher was kicked in the belly about two to three times during the incident.The teacher had advised the students about something that was written in a report which they submitted.The teacher had no physical injuries, but she was traumatised. Both of the student not supposed to do like that.They have to accept the advice and not doing the brutal action to their teacher.Their behave was so rude .As a student they should respect their teacher.

Pa. man chews through belly-busting, 15-lb. burger

At Clearfield it took Brad Sciullo 4 hours and 39 minutes to finish a marathon. A meat marathon, that is. The 5-foot-11, 180-pound western Pennsylvania chef is the first person to eat a monstrosity called the Beer Barrel Belly Bruiser a 15-pound burger with toppings and a bun that brought the total weight to 20.2 pounds.He was surprised he finished the sandwich. The burger included a bun, lettuce, tomatoes, cheese, onions, mild banana peppers and a cup each of mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard and relish. The burger was so gigantic.

Bid to scare cow costs him three fingers

At Kota Baru a 15-year-old boy, who is supposed to sit his Penilaian Menengah Rendah (PMR) exam on Monday, lost three fingers when a firecracker exploded in his right hand yesterday. Mohd Muin Yaakob studied at private religous school SM(Arab) Insaniah is using the fire crackers to chase off the stray cow from his father's vegetable farm.He not realized when he lit up one of the firecracker was about to throw away to cow when it exploded.Actually he is a right-handed person and maybe it hard to him to take an examination.

Hysteria hit girl will sit PMR at education office

Ten students from a hysteria-afflicted school will sit their Penilaian Menengah Rendah (PMR) examination at the district education office on Monday.The girls from Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Tanjung Lumpur here have suffered hysteria attacks since June.The precaution will take to ensure the student do not face the mental stress.So what I hope this incident never happened again.

Max 12 sen drop in fuel prices

Reduction of fuel prices is up to 12 sen by the end of this month. the goverment might reduce again the fuel prices according to the drop fo world fuel prices. I think it is a good news for the people when heard that. The drop of crude oil prices is become a subject interest not only for city folk but also the villagers. Before this it was reduced for 10 sen for diesel and petrol to RM 2.40 and RM 2.45.
